The liner Piako, which has been loading produce at New Plymouth, sailed for Wellington at 2.45 yesterday afternoon, and proceeds to West Coast of England ports, via Monte Video, on Wednesday. On leaving port he" draught was 23ft. 9in. aft. ' ONEHUNGA SERVICE.
Passengers and 140 tons of general cargo were -brought from Onehunga yesterday morning by the Rarawa. which arrived at. 5.30. The vessel sailed north again at 8.30 last night. WAITEMATA STRIKE ENDED. A Vancouver cable states that -the strike of the Waitemata's crew has been settled. The crew is leaving Anacortes, and will rejoin the ship at Victoria. The vessel is loading at Pacific Coast ports for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth, where she is due towards the end of next, month.
KAHIKA ON WEDNESDAY The Kahika is due at Lyttelton to-day, and proceeds thence to Wellington and Nelson, being due at New Plymouth on Wednesday with general cargo. She returns to Dtinedin via Wellington the following day. NIAGARA'S MOVEMENTS. The Niagara, which sailed from Vancouvet on July 21 for Auckland, via ports, is bringing 313 passengers, of, whom 141 are for Auckland. She is due there on Friday.
