Total, £7,531366 19s 2d. ORDINARY REVENUE. Customs, £1,151,301 5s 8d; stamp and death duties, £777,715 9s sd; postal and telegraph revenue, £731,759 0s 4d; land tax, £48,868 18s Id; income tax, £99,429 9s 10d; beer duty, £140,249 4s 8d; railways, £1.483,543 19s lid; registration and other fees. £33,922 3s; marine, £11.388 2s 4d; miscellaneous, £196,214 8s 3d; territorial revenue, pastoral runs’ rents and miscellaneous, £21,979 10s 4d: national endowment revenue, £95,156 Ils 3d. Total balance. £4,819.726 Is 6d. Grand total, £12,823,133 10s Bd. The total for the June quarter last year was £13.671.403 10s 3d, less a balance of £5,590,033 7s sd. PUBLIC WORKS FUND. The Public Works Fund for the quarter shows receipts £3,751,752 9s sd, including the balance at the beginning of the quarter of £429.682 9s 7d. The amounts received from various sources totalled £2,520.950; transfer from Consolidated Fund, £500,000; and other small amounts. The expenditure was £1,616,973 9s 4d. the balance in hand being £2,134,779 0s Id.
