PROVISION FOR COMPULSION. AFFIRMED BY FARMERS’ UNION. By Telegraph.—Press Associative. Wellington, July 27. After an animated discussion at. the 1 annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union to-day and after hearing a statement by the chairman of the Meat Control Board, the following resolution was adopted: “This conference desires to express appreciation of the work already done by the Meat Control Board and re-affirms the resolution passed by the Producers’ Conference, namely that the pool be made compulaory as soon as possible.”
