THE WORLD FLIGHT.
PROGRESS OF MAJOR BLAKE. ANOTHER STAGE PASSED. ■< By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 26, 8.15 p.m. London July 25. The latest progress report of Major Blake, who is flying round the world, states that he has reached Quetta, the capital of the Quetta district, in British Baluchistan. The message adds that the airmen are all well.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Quetta is in the hill districts which lie to the north of India, and Major Blake has proceeded there from Karachi, in north-west India. His route since he left London on Empire Day has been via the Continent to Egypt, across the desert to Bagdad down the Persian Gulf to Karachi, and now north to Quetta, while before him lies a great flight via China, Japan, Alaska, and across Canada to Newfoundland, where the final stage will be made across the North Atlantic back to England.
