WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: ‘•Present Indications are for moderate to strong southerlies, backing to easterlies northwards of Kawhia and East Cape; variable winds elsewhere, with north-easterlies to south-easterlies ruling. Fair weather is probable generally, but haze and cloudiness are increasing shortly, with a change following in many parts. The barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendency soon in the north.”
