The Council of the League of Nations has approved the revised Palestine and Syrian mandates. The former was strengthened in the direction of protecting the Ho y Places of all faiths. Lord Balfour expressed the opinion that every liberty would be preserved to the Arabs. They would prosper as they had never dreamed of doing under the Turks.
