THE WOOL MARKET.
SOOD SALE AT NAPIER. By Telegraph —Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The final wool sale of the season was held to-day. when there was a good attendance of English. Continental, Japanese and local buyers. There was no wool suitable for the American trade, but all other classes were keenly competed for. All fleece wools sold up to and in some cases above the London parity. Pieces and bellies brought very keen competition, and showed a halfpenny to three farthings advance on the previous sale. Crutcnings comprised the larger portion of the catalogue and brought an-mated competition at an advance for medium to good of quite a halfpenny a pound. Locks were also keenly bid for.
