OVER TWO HUNDRED ARRIVE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A total of 222 immigrants were brought to the Dominion by the Ruapehu, which berthed this afternoon, comprising 40 men, 94 women and 82 children. In addition there were 31 domestic servants under the charge of Mrs. | Richards. The ship’s officers speak in terms of high praise of the quality of the newcomers, whose behaviour during the voyage made them regarded as being the best lot that has ever come to New | Zealand on this vessel. All landed as (they travelled, healthy and well. They , are bound as follows: Auckland 16, Taranaki 13. Wanganui 4. Napier 7. ; Wellington 31. South Island 21. The voyage was made under absolutely perfect weather conditions.
