HOCKEY.
LADIES’ HOCKEY ASSOCIATION. FIXTURES FOR TO-DAY. A meeting of the North Taranaki Ladies’ Hockey Association was held at the Technical College. on Tuesday night, Mr. Turner in the chair. Delegates were present from the following clubs: New Plymouth High School, N.P.H.S. Old Girls, Technical College, and Technical College Old Girls. It was decided to hold only one round of fixture matches, and that the matter of postponing matches should be left in the hands of the secretary : that the secretary be instructed to write to the secretary of the Jockej' Club asking for permission to- erect a temporary shelter for the players; that the coaches of the different teams meet at some future date to make representations to the selector with regard to choosing players for North Taranaki representative team. This concluded the business of the meeting. Technical College A v. Technical College B, at 1.15: High School A v. Inglewood; Technical College Old Girls v. High School Old Girls, at 3; High School B a bye. ”
