COMMERCE STUDENTS.
AN INTERESTING ADDRESS. A meeting of the New Plymouth Commerce Students’ Society was held on Tuesday afternoon at 5.30. Mr. C. H. Burgess presided over a good attendance of members. In reply to an invitation from the New Zealand Society of Accountants it was decided to appoint a correspondent to the journal of that society. The meeting was then addressed by Mr. J. C. Nicholson on ■ the subject of “Bills of Sale.” This was, treated in a lucid and exhaustive manner by Mr. Nicholson, and as there : was not time to finish the of the subject it was agreed to hold a special meeting to enable the speaker to complete his address. At the next regular meeting on August 8, Mr. F. T. Davis will deal with the question of the “Rights and Duties of Trustees.” For the following meeting members have ' been asked to prepare short papers on 5 any subject which they consider are of interest to commerce. The society desire to make it known that membership la
not limited to those who are students of commerce in the strict sense of the wSrd, but that anyone interested in the matter of commerce subjects is eligible tQ join.
