APPEAL COURT.

THE LUNDON CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 19. This morning the Court of Appeal continued hearing argument in the matter of Mr. Lundon’s application for re-admission as a solicitor. Mr. Blair, for the applicant, dealt : with affidavits over 50 in number, i which had been filed in support of the | application. These were by all the solicitors in the district except one, 1 who spoke as to Lundon’s good character and reputation since he had been farming. Lundon’s object in making 1 the application was to be able to save his farm from being sold by the mortgagees and to pay his creditors. Mr. Blair completed his address to the Court, which did not call upon Mr. Meek, counsel for the Law Society, today, but will consider the points raised and the affidavits before proceeding further.
