WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for strong westerlies, backing to southerlies northward of Kawhia and East Cape, south to south-east winds prevailing elsewhere. Cold, unsettled and showery weather may be expected generally, with snow on the higher levels in the South Island. The barometer has a rising tendency.”
