EXPULSION OF BOTTOMLEY. WILL ADDRESS THE HOUSE. By Telegraph.-—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 18, 8.50 p.m. London, July 18. The House of Commons agreed to a preliminary motion for Bottomley’s expulsion. It is hoped in political circles that Bottomley will not exercise his right to address the House from the bar, as lie threatens to do. Ho has already petitioned against his removal to desiring to remain at Wormwood Scrubbs in order to be to appear in Hie House of Commons when the expulsion motion is submitted. and to superintend matters rela t - ing to his bankruptcy. The Home Office granted the petition. It is understood that Bottomley, unless ill, will certainly address the House of Com-mons.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
