EVEREST EXPEDITION.

SEVEN PORTERS KILLED, BURIED IN THE SNOW. By Telegraph.~Pres» Mian.—Copyright. Received July 16, 5.5 p.m. London, July 15. In connection with the Everest expedition General Bruce reports that on June 11, while making a further attempt on the mountain from the north col, snow swept ten porters over a crevasse and buried them in deep snow. Three were recovered alive, but the remaining seven were dead.—Times Service. London, July 14. The concern felt at the lack of news from some of the Mount Everest explorers has been removed. The explanation is that they were held up by swollen rivers in Tibet.
