BROADCAST WIRELESS.
LICENSES'IN SOUTH AFRICA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Capetown, July 12. The Postmaster-General announces that licenses will be granted for the establishment of broadcasting wireless telephone services in various parts of the Union. Licenses would also be necessary for receiving appartus. Broadcasting stations will not be allowed to handle advertising or commercial matter, and the/ transmitting stations will be assigned fixed wave lengths.
