THE SHORTER WEEK.

MOVE TO SMASH IT. By I'elegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 12, 9.34 p.m. Sydney, July 12. Cabinet has put the finishing touches to a Bill abolishing the forty-four hour week. The measure will be introduced on the conclusion of the censure debate. The Bill permits employers and employees to come to an Agreement to work fortyfour hours a week.
