THE VICE-REGALS. NEW PROGRAMME Another crowded house at the Empire Theatre last night showed the appreciation of the New Plymouth public of these clever artists. Each item was thoroughly appreciated by the large audience, and the inimitable Claude Dampier and his clever partner (Miss Hilda Attenboro/ had in self protecj tion to appeal for release from the ; third encore vociferously demanded. The community singing introduced by the marionette ‘‘Lord Jellicoe” added to the evening’s enjoyment. There ‘ will be a complete change of programme I to-night, when amongst the numbers I will be a Hawaiian Lullaby, one of i those haunting numbers, and a i entitled “Poppies of Normandy,” in ’ which y*-. find vourself laughing with ! a catch in the throat. Claude Dampier will give some new fooling. Every one , of this talented company will do new ■ solos, new sketches, new concerteds.
