ENTERTAINMENTS.
EVERYBODY’S. “IMPERIAL INDIA” AND “WOMAN’S PLACE.” A special double bill shows to-night and to-morrow at Everybody’s, including “Imperial India” and Constance Talmage’s latest comedy “Woman’s Place.” Constance Talmage is as. whimsical, tantalising and (Captivating as ever. In this production, as a society girl just back from abroad, she becomes a candidate for mayor of the town, running in opposion to a “swell.” The production is brimming over with amusing situations, and has a delightful romance, with a spicy dash of adventure to add considerably to its entertainment value. “Woman’s Place” is an original story written especially for Constance Talmadge by John Emerson and Anita Loos. This would indicate that “Connie” will be “right at home” :in a picture of this type. Kenneth Harlan, who has been Constance’s leading man in some of her recent First National releases; again plays opposite to her in “Woman’s Place.” “Imperial India” is a splendid picture of all the principal events in connection with the tour of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales thiough India. The usual prices of admission are being charged for this big special programme.
