Messages from Canton report that Chen Chung Ming asked oun Yat Sen, head of a delegation from eight Southern provinces, to discuss rights at Peking. Sun Yat Sen refused, unless he was restored to the Southern Presidency, and he also demanded that Chen should punish his military commanders, who drove him from Canton. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
