ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Awn.—Copyright Brisbane, July 7. At Rockhampton. Westlake, Smith and Mills were charged with having stolen a yacht valued, at £Bl6 at De von port. New Zealand, and were remanded for eight days. Received July 7. 11 AO p.m. Brisbane, July 7. A constable, giving evidence in the stolen yacht case, said that when the men landed at Yeppoon he identified Westlake from a Police Gazette photograph. When Westlake was shown the photograph, he denied it was like him. All three declared they came from Fiji.
