The Copenhagen correspondent of the Daily Telegraph states that a Riga message reports that two-thirds of the crops in a number of places throughout Russia have been destroyed. The Bolshevik leaders admit, that the economic situation is desperate,, and in the near future it will be impossible to raise sufficient money to pay. the Red Army. Nevertheless it is rumored that the Bolshevists intend to commence warlike operations in the coming autumn.
