THE NORTH TARANAKI FACTORY SUPPLIERS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Whether the cream suppliers adopted the baby or had it pushed on to them is for themselves to say. The fact remains they have got him. The other fellow nursed him while cheese was 6d to lOd per lb better than butter, but, now cheese is out for quite awhile, so he has been pushed on to the cream supplier. He will be an expensive and troublesome little fellow to nurse, especially now that we are passing through a depression. and money is very hard to get. But the amusing part of it all is that the baby is absolutely no use to the cream supplier, and never will be. By the way, I want to give suppliers a little warning: Be sure and never attempt to discuss butter fat or factory matters unless you have special permission from headquarters, but if you should venture to offend be sure you don’t have a Judas in your midst.—l am, etc., FAIR PLAY. Urenui, July 1.
