WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Indications ar£ for high squally south-east winds northwards of .Gisborne and Kawhia, with strong south-east-erlies to north-easterlies ruling elsewhere. Expect storm.v weather, with rain in the northern districts, also cold, changeable conditions. with scattered showers in other parts rf the country. The barometer is unsteady, and is failing in the northern districts and elsewhere shortly.”
