MEN WITHOUT PENSIONS. THEIR CLAIMS URGED(By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter) Wellington, Last Night. One of the points of Mr. David Jones’ speech in moving the Address-in-Reply, which met with assent from all aides of the House, was that urging the Government to consider the cases of men who had taken their discharge from the N.Z.E.F. without a pension and were now feeling the ravages of war. There were many men, he said, who, anxious to be rid of khaki, had taken their discharges and were now finding they were not as fit as they had thought they were. He felt the Government should recognise the claims of these men and treat them generously.
