The Maindy Lodge, whicli is bringing a cargo of coal to New Plymouth, left Newcastle on Friday, and should reach New Plymouth about Thursday of this week. KAHIKA AND BADEN POWELL. Neither the Kahika nor Baden Powell could be worked on Saturday owing to the wet weather, but it is hoped to discharge them to-day, the Baden Powell then sailing for Lyttelton and the Kahika for Picton and Onehunga, being due here again about Friday to load butter for the Tekoa at Wellington. PORT CHALMERS’ MOVEMENTS. The C. and D. liner Port Chalmers was due at Lyttelton yesterday. The vessel will complete her discharge at Dunedin, after which she is to dock at Port Chalmers. The Port Chalmers has been fixed to load for Home at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui. Picton and Wellington, sailing finally from the latter port during the first week in August for London and Monte Video. WAITEMATA LEFT JAPAN. The Waitemata left Mogi. Japan, last Monday for Vancouver. The vessel will load on rhe Pacific Slope for New Zealand ports (including New Plymouth) and Australia. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
