THE HAWERA SHOW.
OPENING TO-MORROW. The 'Dominion Show, which opens at Hawera to-morrow and continues throughout the rest of the week, promises ,to eclipse all of its predecessors, fully justifying its claim to be known as the premier winter show of the Dominion. Every available foot of space in the roomy and spacious halls have been taken up, and the building presented a very animated scene on Saturday, when the various exhibitors were engaged in getting their displays in order. Such progress has been made that everything will be in readiness for the | opening to-morrow- The competitive classes have drawn very large entries, particularly in the schools division, whilst a feature is the display by the agricultural clubs. The Acclimatisation Society’s exhibit, which has been a feature for some years past, has been considerably enlarged, and is sure to prove a great attraction, whilst there are also other novel features that should combine to make bhe show appeal to all. Excursion fares have been arranged by train for the week and there are also special train arrangements on certain days.
