A BRIEF SITTING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, the Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Hon. W. E. Collins gave notice of his intention to move the Address-in-Reply on Tuesday. Sir William Fraser extended to the Speaker the congratulations of himself and members on the honor conferred on him. .• The Hon. O. Samuel and the Hon. M. ’ Cohen joined in the congratulations, which Sir Walter Carncross suitably acknowledged. Tv ? . . A motion of sympathy with the relatives = ci' the late Hon. Colonel W. D. Baillie waapassed. The Council adjourned at 2.58 p.m.
