AN OLD MAORI KILLED. By Telegraph.’—Press Association. Hastings, June 28. A Maori, Raiwaho Winiatana. known as Jimmy, aged GO, was standing on a stump chopping the branches of a tree near Waimarama. One branch in falling struck a rotten tree alongside his tree; and rebounding, struck the man on the back, pinning him to the stump and killing him instantly.
