Masters asked the Prime Minister to-day: In view of the fact that the Arbitration Court has decided, after the fullest consideration had been given to the statistics in regard io the cost of living, to reduce the general workers’ •wage by five shillings per week to date from May 13, 1922, and as the public servants’ wages under the Public Expenditure Adjustment Act have been reduced by 6s per week, becoming effective from January. 1922, will the Government review the position in the direction of placing Public Servant® on at least an equal basis as the general worker ?
