THE WESTFIELD MARKET. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Wdstfield market to-day the following prices were realised:— Beef.—Largo yarding, prices about the same as last week. Extra choice ox to 19s per 1001 b., choice prime l€s to 18s, plain 12s to 14s, prime cow and heifer 14s to 16s, others 10s to 12s. Sheep.—Heavy entry: prices show little alteration. Extra prime wethers to 335, prime 26s to 28s, medium 23s 6d to 25s 3d, light 19s to 225,’ unfinished 18s, extra prime ewes up to 255, prime 19s to 21s, medium 16s to 18s, light down to 13s. Calves.—An average yarding, very little prime penned; market dull, and anything excepting prime was hard to quit.’ Extra prime to £2 10s, prime 30s to £2, ordinary 18s to 255, others 10s to 15s, fresh dropped 5s to Bs. Pigg.—An average yarding; prices if anything easier. Citoppers to £3 3s, heavy baconers to £3 10s, light £2 10s to £3 3s, porkers 30s to £2 10s. Lambs.—Smaller yarding. Heavy prime to 25s 6d, prime 213 to 235, medium 17s to 19s, others 14 s to 16s. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Mr. Geo. H. Buckeridge has received a cable message from Messrs. Lane and Co., London: Butter market active at 238 s to 2415. Cheese market firmer; colored 102 s, white 106 s.
