URENUI CEMETERY.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —In reply to A.L.I.V.E. and your local reporter of Wai-toi-toi in regard to the Urenui cemetery. I am very glad that I have helped to get rid of the gorse and blackberry at last. Well, 1 think that the three named could do it and save others from being eyesore at looking at the gorse and blackberry —A.L.I.V.E., Wai-toi-toi reporter, and J.G. If the reporter and A.L.I.V.E. would roll up on the 29th at 8.30 a.m. with slashers we can get to and shift the gorse and blackberry. But, if there are any more willing hands eyesore, just come along on the 29th inst. and give us a hand. The ones that think it ought to be done and - don’t come and give a helping hand ought to go to the hotel and pay for the dinners of those who are shifting the gorse and blackberry. Once the gorse and blackberry is grubbed out Urenui will look 60 years younger. So 1 am looking forward to the 29th and L hope the reporter and A.L.I.V.E. are doing wise. I think A.L.1.V.E., must- have seen double when he was reading jny note. I did qot say- anything against Urenui and surrounding districts in having balls and dances, what I said was it is about time there was a dance or ball held so as to get some money to pay a man to clean the gorse and blackberry out of the cemetery. But, seeing that he and the reporter are willing to bring along their slasher, I think it will be as wqll if the two of them were to bring a grubber as well so that the roots will be taken out also, so as to keep the gorse and blackberry away always. j am going to bring a grubber as well as a slasher with me, so don't forget to roll up on the 29th inst at 8.30 a.m.—l am, etc., J.G.
