TAUPO SHAKES
MORE HEAVY SHOCKS. TREES BROUGHT DOWN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. There were heavy shakes last night and this morning at Taupo, Oruanui, and Wairakei. Professor Marsden is on the spot, and is setting up his instru« ments to record the direction. Considerable damage was caused td glassware on shelves. Big trees are down on the road to the spa. News of particulars is scanty, but is expected over the ’phone from Wairakei to-night.
