MISSING OFFICIALS.
FEARS FOR THEIR SAFETY. SEARCH PARTIES OUT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. The District Engineer,. Mr. P. Keller, and the Road Mr. Corlett, who left with a guide from Waimarino to attend a sitting of the Railway Com'missioners at Taupo, have not since been seen. The guide who accompanied them hafc returned to Taupo. He says he left them fifteen miles out. Searcli parties are out, but at 5 p.m. no news had been received. In view of the intense cold, grave fears are entertained as to their safety. Mr. Keller is a most experienced surveyor and bushman, hardy, and having a knowledge of heavy country.
