Rickard announced that, after a discussion with Kerns, he will promote a Dempsey-Will’s bout. Kerns asked for an assurance that when the site was chosen Rickard will obtain a guarantee that the authorities will not in-« terfere with the fight. The terms of the bout have not yet been discussed.
