THE ARGENTINE HOLDS CONTROL. PROBLEM BEFORE AUSTRALIA. BETTER HANDLING URGED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 21, 10.30 p.m. •Sydney, June 21. Speaking at the Millions Club, Mr. Cramsie, deputy-chairman of the Meat said the boaril was having a hard fight to hold the English market. Be believed Australia would never get the beef market ’back again, because they could not compete with the Argentine. He claimed the board could handle frozen meat second to no place in the world, but after the meat left the Homebush abbattoirs the board had no control over it. Meat was carried through the streets exposed to dust and left unprotected on the wharves. He concluded by saying: “Unless better means of handling are introduced Australia in five years Will have lost her export trade.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
