Wellington, 22nd day of June, 1922. , CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance and exercise of the vested in the Council by the Counties Act, 1908, and the Rating Act, 1908, it is the intention of the Clifton County Council at its next meeting, to be held on Friday, the 7th day of July, 1922, to make and levy under section 117 of the Counties Act, 1908, and in accordance with section 48 of the Rating Act, 1908, a General Rate of Twopence and one farthing in the £ on the Capital value of all rateable property within each of the Ridings of the County of Clifton, namely, the Mokau, Uruti, Urenui, Tikorangi, Waihi and Ngatimaru Ridings. Such General Rate shall be for the year ending 31st March, 1923, and shall be payable in one instalment on the 14th day of August, 1922, at the office of the Clifton County Council, Waitara, where the rate book is open for inspection during office hours.
