STEEL WORKS IN JAVA By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—-Copyright. Received June 20, 9.20 p.m. Sydney, June 20. The Commonwealth Bureau of Comrnerje and Industry has received information that big German steel works are to be established in Java, and that the Government of the Netherlands Indies have given big' contracts without competition to the Stinnes group in consideration of the establishment of the works. Coal is to be obtained at Sumatra, and iron ore in Java.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
