Thompson, son-in-law of Colonel Harvey (American Ambassador to Britain), along with seven others, on charges of conspiracy to ship guns to the Republicans in Ireland a year ago. The in- ' dieted men are officials and employees of the Auto Ordnance Company. Thompson denies knowledge that guns were on board the steamer Eastside, which was seized before sailing.—Aus.JLZ.
