In the Kent championships semi -final, Miss McKane beat Mrs. Mallory, 6—l, 2—6, 6—3. Received June 18, 5.5 p.m. London, June 17. In the Kent tennis semi-finals, Lycett beat Fyzee, 5—7, 6—o, 6—4 : Kingscote beat Morpurgo, 7—5, 4—6, 6—4. In the final, Kingscote beat Lycett, 6—3, 4—l (retired). Miss McKane, England’s strongest hope against Madamolselle Lenglen, beat Miss Ryan, 6—3, 6—3.
