A REMBRANDT STOLEN.
FROM STUTTGART MUSEUM. LARGE REWARD OFFERED. By Telegraph.—Press A&sn.—Copyright. Received June 17, 5.5 p.m. London, June 17. Scotland Yard requests .information about the theft of the Rembrandt painting of “Paul in Prison,” which is valued at five million marks, from the Stuttgart Museum on Whit Sunday. The message says that the thieves climbed the conductor and descended from the roof by a knotted, rope and removed the picture from its frame. The Wurtemberg Government is offering a reward of fifty thousand marks. It is believed the picture has been brought to England.—Reuter Service.
