UREN DEFEATS COLE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, eceived June 18, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, June 17. At the Stadium. Uren (10.13) beat Jack Cole (11.4) on points. The contest was marked by much wild fighting and battling at closo quarters. Cole constantly forcing his opponent. Cole showed improved form, while Uren wis handicapped somewhat by injuring his thumb in the fourth round. The verdict caused considerable dissatisfaction.
