George Thompson, who was prominent in the Farr case, is claiming £SO?JO damages from the British Medical Association for alleged defamation. The action is grounded on his expulsion from the British Medical Association, following the part he took in the Farr case, and the motion for his expulsion, in which it was stated he would not be met in consultation or accorded professional recognition in any form by the British Medical Association—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
