WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for easterly winds, strong io gale, heavy rain in northern and east coast districts of the North Island; increasing south-east winds, cold squally conditions, with rain elsewhere, and snow on the higher levels. The barometer is unsteady, falling in the north and rising soon in the south.”
