MOKAU DAIRY COMPANY.

GENERAL MEETING. A general meeting of the Mokau Cooperative Dairy Co. was held in the Town Hall, Mokau, on Saturday. The company chairman (Mr. W. D. Black) being absent through illness, Mr. A. G. Mowat was voted to the chair. The business before the meeting was as set forth in the circular issued by the provisional committee of the proposed cumpulsory dairy pool. After considerable discussion it was proposed by Mr. George Sage “That* the two resolutions sent forward by the committee, and embodied in its circular, be supported-” This was seconded by Mr. C. J. Randell. A proposition in the direct negative, “That this company have nothing to do with the proposed pool, moved by Mr. A. G. Sampson and seconded by Mr. F. A. Bilteliff, was ruled out of order. The original motion was thereupon put and carried. Several other matters were discussed, at the meeting, which closed with a vote of thanks to the chair-
