COURSING.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The adjourned annual meeting of the New Plymouth Coursing Club was held last •vetting. In the absence of the president (Mr. ft Barlow), Mr. R. Mcßae presided. The secretary (Mr. F. Doughty) report£<t that as the attendance at the annual meeting had been small, an adjournment had been decided upon. There had been some suggestion that the club should combine with the figment Coursing Club, but nothing had eventuated In this direction. The chairman expressed his satisfaction at the larger attendance, which showed that those Interested in the sport had no Intention -if allowing the club to disappear. If town and country members pulled together, us he was sure they would, as true sports, there was nothing to prevent a very successful club in Xew Plymouth. The balance sheet showed that for the 1921 season the club had made a profit of about £3, leaving the debit, balance at the end of the year £l7 14s fld. After discussion it was adopted.
