The Maoris made one change from the team which defeated Queensland on Saturday, Ahimora playing five-eighth There were 2000 spectators. Play during the first half of the game was fairly even, the spell ending 5—3 in favor of Toowoomba. Morrison secured a try. On resumption, Toowoomba overran the visitors, who only made one response. Te Whata’s and Duffy’s line-kicking was a feature of the game.
