QUESTION OF REJOINING PUNJAB. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Simla, June 11. The frontier committee is now taking the evidence of prominent Punjab officials, who appear to favor re-amalgamation. From the official standpoint the Punjab Government is absolutely neutral and willing to undertake the responsibility, but views askance the financial difficulty. One Indian Minister said, bluntly, he would sack all the political officers administering the tribal districts and recruit them afresh from a different class.
