RATES, 1922-1923. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the County of Taranaki intend, at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, the 3rd July, 1922, at the County Chambers, Robe Street, New Plymouth, to make and levy under sections 120 and 121, “Counties Act, 1920,” section 48 “Rating Act, 1908,” section 9 “Rating Amendment Act, 1913,” and section 41 “Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” rates within each of the* Ridings of the County of Taranaki as particularised hereunder: — MANGORE I RIDING.—A General Rate of foui-pence three farthings in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-sixteenths, of a penny in the pound. WAITARA RIDING.—A General Rate of four and nine-sixteenths pence in .the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid rate of nine-six-teenths of a penny in the pound. OMATA RIDING.—A General Rate of four and three-eighths of a penny in the pound and a Hospital and ■Charitable Aid Rate of nine-six-teenths of a penny in the pound. OKATO RIDING—A General Rate of four and one-sixteenth pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-six-teenths of a .penny in the pound. 'Such rates to be calculated on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property within the County of Taranaki, and to be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1922, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1923, and be payable in one instalment at the office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, on the sixth day of July, 1922. NOTICE is hereby given that the Inglewood County Council will, at its Ordinary Meeting to be held at its office, Moa Street, Inglewood, on Tuesday, 4th day of July, at 10.30 a.m., make and levy a General Rate under the “Counties Act, 1920,” and tfie “Rating Act, 1908,” of fivepence in the Pound on the Rateable Property in each Riding within the Inglewood County, on the basis of the Unimproved Value, for the period commencing Ist day of April, 1922, and ending 31st day of March, 1923; also under “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1908,” make and levy a Hospital Rate of 2/3rds of a penny in the Pound on the same basis and for the same period as the above mentioned General Rate. Also that the above rates will be payable at the Coiuicil’s office, Moa Street, Inglewood, in one instalment on the 17th day of July, 1922.
