TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE A meeting of the committee of the Taranaki Boxing Association was held last night. Present: Messrs. AV. Graham (chairman), M. Stagpoole, AV. Yardley, A. Baker, AV. Whitaker, F. J. Eggleton, C. Grainger, W. N. Stephenson, R. Barlow, Jas. Garcia, N. B. Howell, and the secretary (Mr. C. H. AVynyard). Apologies were received from Messrs. E. Jackson, G. E. J ago, and R. Paul, who were granted leave of absence. Eight new - members wers elected. Mr. C. H. Weston (president of the society, forwarded a donation of £2 2s towards the funds of the society.—lt was resolved to send a letter of thanks to the president, who is also to be asked to declare the tournament The house committee reported that arrangements were well 4n hand in regard to the preparation of the Coronation Hall and the seating arrangements for the tournament. Other sub-committees also reported that final arrangements had been made. The programme for to-morrow night was finally approved as follows: Bantams.—R. Dudding (Stratford) v. AV. Harris (New Plymouth) ; R. Cantell (New Plymouth) v. Marshall (New Plymouth) ; Charles Anderson (New Plymouth) v. Tommy Bell (Eltham). Feather-weight.—Gibson (New Plymouth) v. J. F. O’Rorke (OpunaJre) ; E. C. Dudding (Stratford) v. D. H. McWhirter (Eltham) ; G. Dudding, a bye. Middle.—E. AVebber (Lepperton) v. R. Land (New Plymouth) ; C. H. Whitaker (Eltham) v. Jack Lowry (New Plymouth). Emergency boxer.—T. Rooke. Professional contest.—<Len McAsey (Lepperton) v. Geo. Richardson. Amateur bouts.—Four two-minute rounds. Professional bouts. —'Fifteen three-minute rounds. The programme for Saturday night is: —■ Bantam.—A. Collins (Stratford) v. D. Childs (Stratford). Feather-weight.—W. G. Cooinbe (Opunake) v.
