He slipped and fell while attempting to step on to the cow-catcher attached to the engine, his head getting beneath the cow-catcher. His heck was broken and his head badly smashed. At Shannon on Saturday, night a mo-tor-car and gig collided and William Davidson, employed at Mangaoho, an occupant of the car, was struck by the shaft of the gig and was seriously injured. H.
